While thought-provoking questions have so many benefits (stimulate deeper thinking, students take more responsbility for thinking, lead to more considered responses) they can be difficult to formulate, especially mid lesson. This cheat sheet is intended to help you plan your questions ahead of time by connecting the types of questions to the thinking processes they demand to possible verbs stems. Any feedback for how you do or don't find this useful would be appreciated.

Following is a collection of resources for teachers whose students are of differing abilities. These lesson plans are of a general nature and can be adapted for students of different functioning levels. As teachers in a special needs setting may choose to teach concepts from any level of Alberta Education's Programs of Studies, these lessons are not grade specific. Teachers are encouraged to consider the needs of their student group and discuss these with their administration when planning for sexual health instruction.
